This morning as I walked with my little one she stopped her bike suddenly and exclaimed “Look!” to something she had found on the footpath. Thinking it was probably a coin or bottle top I was pleasantly surprised to see what had excited her imagination. Transported back in time to days of playing in the scrub, making cubbies and secret codes I found she had discovered a beautiful paperbark blossom. To appreciate nature is one thing but to find that you have instilled this curiosity into another makes me very happy indeed.
